About

Ceramics. Art. Learning

My practice is firmly rooted in collaboration and participation. I am inspired by the natural world and the ability of art to change narratives and highlight issues. I am also fascinated by science and the magical/chemical transformations that take place through building, decorating and firing clay.

Working in clay allows me to respond to landscapes not as fixed scenes, but as living, weathered places shaped by time and movement. I’m particularly drawn to the overlooked and unwanted, creatures that live on the margins. My work is a reflection on how we assign values in nature and an invitation to notice what is usually passed by.

My work draws from time spent walking the boundaries between land and sea—through fields, woodlands, and along coastal paths. Each piece reflects observations gathered on foot: the textures of soil and stone, the shifting line of the tide, and the quiet evidence of seasonal change.
